Elmley Nature Reserve is a privately owned 3,300-acre estate and nature reserve in North Kent. In the heart of the estate sits Kingshill Farm. Its breathtaking barn, collection of wild luxe spaces and soulful accommodations all have stunning wilderness views. This is a truly unique exclusive-use venue that only holds a small number of weddings each year.
With private use of Kingshill Farm for two nights alongside your celebrations, you and your guests are also welcome to explore the Reserve, walk along miles of nature trails, enjoy a sunset swim from Elmley’s private beach or host a pre-wedding morning yoga session on the hay meadows.We were so lucky to capture Lauren & Sam’s beautiful summer wedding on 5th July 2023. Lauren & Sam’s wedding was decorated with colourful wildflowers by Jo from Moody Blooms. The couple had the opportunity to spend three days at the venue, which allowed them to spend quality time with loved ones before and after the big day. This way, the wedding really felt like an event, rather than a one-day whimsical whirlwind. Lauren & Sam loved having their dog, Bertie, with them as ring bearer! He is a huge part of our lives and we couldn’t have gotten married without him and he looked rather dashing in all the photos.
Traditional Kentish Barn
The traditional Kentish Barn is the heart of your wedding celebrations. Its wooden vaulted ceiling are draped with twinkling lights and the huge window provides breath-taking views across miles of unspoilt landscape. Hold your wedding feast and party the night away with the moonlight shining off the lakes beyond. The huge rustic wedding barn doors open out onto a grass courtyard, encircled by wildflowers, and festoon lighting, for wedding reception drinks, games and dancing under the stars.
