Preston Court Wedding

Let me take you back to Emily and Henry’s wedding at the Preston Court near Canterbury.

To start I just would like to say it was so lovely to go through their wedding photos again! It brought back so many amazing memories. We couldn’t have been happier we were there to capture all the big and small moments for this lovely couple.

We first met with Henry and Emily for their pre-wedding shoot in London. So going to their wedding day was like seeing your friends. They both welcomed us with open arms and we just knew it will be one heck of a wedding to capture. We were absolutely blessed with the weather for the end of October too.

Capturing wedding at the Preston Court won’t disappoint you! A beautiful Georgian Country House with 17th century oak Kentish barn, large gardens, lake with the most romantic island in the middle. A fully working Victorian carousel and fairground organs. Sounds great! It’s even better in real life.

So how the day started. Emily was getting ready at the nearby pub with rooms – The Dog at Wingham. She wore the most beautiful Pronovias wedding dress from Amore Bridal Boutique in Canterbury and looked absolutely stunning. Emily’s hair and makeup artist was lovely Jessica who also came later on in the evening for some touch ups before the golden hour shots.

The whole wedding day was filled with the good vibes, lots of laughter, some happy tears, Prosecco and plenty of love. Incredible food from Will Burnet Chef, beautiful wedding decor made by Emily and her mum, golden hour followed by amazing speeches and lots of fun on the Victorian Carousel. Not forgetting the cake!

It was really a perfect wedding day!
