Cooling Castle Barn Wedding

April 28, 2022

The couple

We loved capturing Jasmine and Luke’s wedding day so much! Although it was a very challenging day in terms of the weather, it was so much fun and nothing has stopped us to capture all the beautiful moments. When we first met on the Zoom call, we fall in love with them straight away. They are the most friendly and fun couple you can meet.

Morning Preparations

On their wedding day we arrived to the Cooling Castle Barn https://www.coolingcastlebarn.com in the morning. The weather forecast for the day wasn’t great. It was rather cold 1st April spring day with some rain and even snow. But who cares on the wedding day – the party still must go on! We had the best morning with Jasmine and her bride tribe getting ready at the Cooling Castle’s prep room. It was very chilled with plenty of giggles and bubbles. The morning preparations were mostly captured in the documentary style as the things are happening. We took some lovely portraits with the girls once they were ready.

Styling and vibe of the day

There were so much thought put in when it came to styling, colours and all the flower arrangements for this wedding. Loved the mixed rust, forest green and beige colour. It perfectly matched Jasmine and Lukes looks on their wedding day. It was all organised and styled by Rebecca https://byrbb.com and Jo https://moody-blooms.co.uk

The day was full of emotional moments and laughter! Despite the cold weather we even managed to get a glimpse of the golden hour in the evening for their couple portraits before the speeches. It was rather quick 10 min shoot, but we took some incredible photos and it was so worth it.

In the evening there was the cake cutting, dancing and more food and drinks!
