The Old Kent Barn Wedding

Let me take you back to Ahsen and Burhan’s beautiful wedding at the Old Kent Barn on 14th June 2021.

Bridal Preparations

The day started with joining Ahsen, her mum and her 9 beautiful bridesmaids getting ready at the Old Kent Barn’s bridal suite. Ahsen wore the most elegant Anna Georgina bridal gown purchased at Morgan Davies Bridal shop in London. The bride tribe had mismatched different shades of greens bridal dresses. We absolutely loved them and the time didn’t know that the bride team photos will go viral.

One of us will also capture groom and groomsmen getting ready. Burhan had a smaller team on the day, but what a great bunch of friends. They all wore classic black tie suits.

The Old Kent Barn Grounds and Ceremony

During the morning preparations we had a walk around the Old Kent Barn Grounds. Their garden space is absolutely beautiful and well maintained throughout the year. From early spring till late summer the gardens are full of the most stunning blooms, and tucked among some of Kents best countryside. We were so lucky to have most beautiful white wisteria blooming at this time of the year – it worked perfectly as the backdrop for the post-wedding photos.

The ceremony took place outside in the gazebo. It was rather small intimate ceremony due to Covid-19 restrictions only 30 guests were aloud at the wedding. Ahsen and Burhan had the most intimate circle of guests with very warm hearts – we certainly felt very welcome.

Ceremony and Evening

The reception took place at the Old Kent Barn’s new open plan barn with the long table in the middle. The set up was absolutely perfect decorated with minimalistic wedding stationery and gorgeous florals supplied by Jo from the Moody Blooms . When it comes to setting up the reception so as everything else – The Old Kent barn staff makes everything perfect. Starting with perfectly ironed linen to triple polished cutlery and glasses. The wedding day also always runs smoothly with key formalities always on time.

After the meal we took bride and groom for an early evening photos around the grounds. You will never run out of beautiful backgrounds at this stunning venue. The wedding evening finished with a sparkle send off and loveliest memories from the whole day.
